Step: 1

Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.

Step: 2

Prewash T-shirt in washer with small amount of laundry soap. Do not dry. Place damp shirt face up on work surface and smooth flat.

Step: 3

Pinch fabric on lower right side of shirt and pull up, forming a cone. Tightly wrap a rubber band about 2-inches from tip of cone, then wrap another rubber band about 2-inches from the first. Repeat on right shoulder and under left sleeve. Refer to photo.

Step: 4

Wearing plastic gloves from kit, fill all dye bottles with water to indicated line. Tightly replace lids and shake bottles until color is thoroughly mixed.

Step: 5

Squeeze Red dye on tip of lower cone shape, turning fabric for complete coverage. Squeeze dye around center of rubber-banded section below tip, letting it bleed to rubber band. Insert tip of bottle into folds to fill in as needed.

Step: 6

Repeat step above with Fuchsia on right shoulder and Purple on right sleeve.

Step: 7

Cover dyed fabric with plastic wrap to keep damp. Let set 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense colors.

Step: 8

Fully rinse dyed fabric under warm running water until all extra dye is removed and water runs clear. Carefully cut off rubber bands. Fill washer to large load setting with hottest water suitable for T-shirt fabric and a small amount of laundry soap.

Step: 9

Dry in dryer. Iron smooth. Wash and dry separately for the first few washes.

Step: 10

Insert Tulip® Fashion Form™ to prevent seepage.

Step: 11

Working in small sections at a time, add Iron-on Crystals where desired. Turn on Cordless Heat-Setting Tool following package instructions. Touch tip of crayon to top of crystal and place on shirt - the wax on crayon will hold crystals just long enough to place on shirt. Touch tip of hot tool to top of crystal and hold for 10 seconds. Remove tool and let crystal cool. Touch crystal with fingernail to make sure it has adhered, if not add a few more seconds of heat. Randomly adhere different sized crystals around each dyed section.

Step: 12

Squeeze a puddle of Fabric Fusion onto foil. Use toothpick to add dots of glue where sequins are desired. Use crayon to place sequins into glue dots on T-shirt. Let dry.

Step: 13

Wash separately and on delicate cycle. Dry flat or line dry.
