Step: 1

Before using the Creative Versa-Tool™, read all instructions and follow all safety precautions. Attach the Hot Knife Point to Creative Versa-Tool™ and tighten with pliers. Use tape to secure stand to hard surface. Place Creative Versa-Tool™ on stand. Plug into electric outlet, press switch “ON”, and let heat 4 -5 minutes.

Step: 2

Using pencil, trace 2 rectangle window shapes, and 1 quarter size circle between windows where door will be placed onto pumpkin.

Step: 3

Using the Hot Knife Point, cut along traced lines. Turn pumpkin upside down and cut a small hole at the bottom of the pumpkin. Remove cut pumpkin scraps through hole.

Step: 4

Use Hot Knife Point to cut 2 pumpkin shapes and ½” window ledges from cut pumpkin scraps.

Step: 5

Trace oval shape onto foam board large enough for pumpkin to sit on. Use Hot Knife to cut on traced line. Cut front steps of house from foam board in graduating sizes. Note that the dimensions of the steps will depend on the size of the pumpkin. Unplug tool and allow to cool.

Step: 6

Using decorative edge scissors cut 2 window outline shapes ½” wide and large enough to cover each window. Cut a nickel size circle from orange cardstock which will be the window hole in the door. Cut paper strips for window panes and glue to the windows with paper adhesive.

Step: 7

From black felt cut 1 oval door shape. Cut 1 purple door shape slightly smaller than felt door. Insert black brad onto door for handle. Glue orange window onto door with paper adhesive.

Step: 8

Hot glue cardstock windows, door, and small pumpkins onto pumpkin. Hot glue pumpkin onto foam board base.

Step: 9

Hot glue front steps onto base under door turning them in different directions.

Step: 10

Using glitter pen write “BOO!” onto top of the pumpkin.

Step: 11

Decorate all edges, windows, door, and all other areas of pumpkin with glitter pens.
