Pre-wash shirt and dry without fabric softener. Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.
Insert Tulip® Fashion Form™ or a piece of cardboard covered with foil in between layers of shirt.
Enlarge skull and crossbones pattern to desired size and print out. Copy onto contact paper and cut out. Use craft knife to cut out eyes, nose and corners of mouth.
Place skull stencil where desired on the shirt. Pour Asphalt Tulip® Fabric Spray Paint™ into plastic container. Dip paintbrush into Asphalt and flick paint randomly across shirt. Let dry and repeat on back of shirt.
Remove the contact paper and outline skull with Black Slick Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint™. Let dry.
When dry, use small paintbrush to apply Tulip® Fashion Glitter Bond™ around the eyes, nose and corners of mouth. Immediately sprinkle with Black Fashion Glitter™. When dry, shake off excess onto scratch paper and pour back into container for reuse.
Pour needed amount of Glitter Bond™ onto a piece of foil. Tap flat end of makeup sponge into adhesive then dab onto skull, working in small sections at a time. Immediately sprinkle White Pearl Fashion Glitter™ onto adhesive, press with finger to set, then shake excess glitter onto scratch paper. Repeat process, glittering entire skull. Let dry.
Use a chalk pencil to draw out swirls around and through skull. Refer to photo. Trace over (or freehand draw) swirl lines with True Red Slick. Immediately sprinkle Red Fashion Glitter™ over paint and let dry. When dry, shake off excess onto scratch paper and return to container for reuse.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
If your dimensional paint line gets a bubble, pop it with a straight pin. If it comes out too thick in one spot after applying, run a straight pin through the middle of it to break up the paint. Do this immediately, before the paint begins to dry.
When working with glitter be sure paint or Glitter Bond™ dries completely. After shaking off excess glitter it may be helpful to use a large stiff brush to brush off the rest.
