Project Instructions

Cut a 10½" length of large diamond link chain. Cut a 16” length of turquoise velvet ribbon. Weave the velvet ribbon through the large diamond link chain and glue or sew the ribbon ends to the back to secure and trim away excess ribbon. Use jump rings to attach all insect charms to the large diamond chain woven with turquoise ribbon, distributing them evenly.

Cut two 8" lengths of heavy rope chain; use jump rings to attach the end of one length to the lobster clasp, and the other end to the butterfly pendant wing. Add a jump ring to the end of the second length of heavy rope chain and clip the lobster clasp to it.

Link together three oval jump rings to the each side of the beaded green chain and attach one end to the butterfly wing (as shown) and the other end to the second length of heavy rope chain.

Cut a 9½” length of small cable chain and attach each one to the first jump ring linked to the beaded green chain and the other end to the first jump ring on the other side of the beaded green chain.

Cut a 12½" length of small diamond chain and use a jump ring to attach it and the large diamond chain woven with the turquoise ribbon to the butterfly wing as shown. Use a jump ring to attach the free ends of the chains to the heavy rope chain (on the side opposite the butterfly).

Cut a 14½" length of small cable chain; use a jump ring to attach both it and the beaded topaz chain together to the butterfly. Attach the free ends to the heavy rope chain with a jump ring.

To complete the necklace, use a jump ring to attach the rose pendant to the last link of the heavy rope chain, on the end opposite the butterfly pendant.
