Material List

  • Cricut Expression® Personal Electronic Cutter
  • Cricut® Simply Sweet Cartridge
  • Cricut Walk in My Garden® Cartridge
  • Cardstock: Yellow, Dark Red, Pink, Green, Floral Patterned, Striped, Floral Accent
  • Ribbon (½ yard each): Sheer Red, Sheer Yellow
  • Circle Tin with flat bottom and handle (6¼-inch)
  • Ink Pad: Brown
  • Dauber
  • Scissors
  • Foam Mounting Squares
  • Adhesive
 

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Using Simply Sweet cartridge and yellow cardstock, press Shift and cut two 6¼-inch <circle>. Adhere to front and back of tin, trimming excess. Ink edges.


Step: 2

Cut circles. Using pink cardstock, press Shift and cut one 5¼-inch <circle>. Ink edges. Using striped cardstock, press Shift and cut one 5-inch <circle>. Ink edges. Layer circles together. Adhere to front of tin using mounting squares.


Step: 3

Cut tags. Using Walk in My Garden cartridge and floral patterned cardstock, cut one 6¼-inch <tag>. Using dark red cardstock, cut one 6½-inch <tag>. Cut off circles. Layer together using mounting squares. Adhere to tin front using mounting squares.


Step: 4

Cut stems. Using green cardstock, press Shift and cut two 3-inch <stem1>. Cut stems in half. Adhere stems behind tags so they appear longer as shown.


Step: 5

Cut small flower. Using floral accent cardstock, cut one 1½-inch <crpsis>. Repeat cut using dark red cardstock and Shadow feature. Using green cardstock, press Shift and cut one 1½-inch <crpsis-s>. Repeat cut using dark red cardstock. Ink all edges. Layer together using adhesive and mounting squares. Gently bend petals upward to add dimension. Adhere to one stem using mounting squares.


Step: 6

Cut large flower. Using pink cardstock, cut two 2-inch <blossm>. Using dark red cardstock, select Shadow feature and cut one 2-inch <blossm>. Using yellow cardstock, press Shift and cut one 2-inch <blossm-s>. Ink all edges. Layer together using adhesive and mounting squares. Gently bend petals upward to add dimension. Adhere to remaining stem using mounting squares.


Step: 7

Cut Spring. Using Simply Sweet cartridge and yellow cardstock, select Stitched feature and cut 1-inch letters to spell Spring. Using pink cardstock, press Shift and cut six 1¼-inch <circle>. Using dark red cardstock, press Shift and cut six ¾-inch <circle>. Ink edges of Spring and pink circles. Layer cuts so letters are on top, dark red circles are in the middle, and pink circles are on the bottom. Adhere to tag as shown using mounting squares.


Step: 8

Tie ribbons into a bow around handle.
