Spring Frame
Celebrate the joy of spring with this colorful frame, made with the Cricut Expression machine.

Material List
- Cricut Expression® Personal Electronic Cutter
- Cricut® Walk in My Garden® Cartridge
- 15½-inch x 9¼-inch Frame with 9½-inch x 3½-inch Opening
- Cardstock: Patterned, Striped, Yellow, Red, Green, Orange, Black
- ¾-inch wide Orange Ribbon, 1 yard
- Paint: Cream
- Paintbrush
- Mod Podge®
- Sponge Brush
- Wood Stain
- Sandpaper
- Paper Trimmer
- Foam Mounting Squares
- Adhesive
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Paint frame. Let dry. Sand edges. Use wood stain to darken sanded areas. Let dry.
Step: 2
Cut two 2 7/8-inch x 9¼-inch blocks of patterned cardstock. Cut two 10-inch x 2 7/8-inch blocks of striped cardstock. Use Mod Podge to adhere patterned and striped cardstock blocks so they cover frame as shown. Let dry.
Step: 3
Cut one 3½-inch x 3-inch block of green cardstock. Cut one 2¾-inch x 3¼-inch block of orange cardstock. Layer and adhere to frame as shown using mounting squares.
Step: 4
Cut flowers. Using Walk in My Garden cartridge and green cardstock, press Shift and cut three 2-inch <stem1>. Using yellow cardstock, cut three 1-inch <cnflwr>. Using red cardstock, press Shift and cut three 1-inch <cnflwr-s>. Repeat cut using orange cardstock. Layer and adhere flowers to orange block as shown.
Step: 5
Tie ribbon into a bow around top section of frame as shown.
Step: 6
Cut ladybug. Using black cardstock, cut one 1-inch <ldybg1>. Using red cardstock, press Shift and cut one 1-inch <ldybg1-s>. Layer together. Adhere over ribbon as shown using mounting squares.
