  • Cardstock: Dark Pink Dotted, Light Pink Dotted, White, Yellow, Orange, Dark Green, Light Green, Light Blue
  • Photographs, 3½-inch x 4¾-inch
  • Assorted Buttons (3)

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Use one 12-inch x 12-inch sheet of dark pink dotted cardstock as layout base. Cut one 11¼-inch x 9¼-inch white cardstock block and adhere to layout as shown. Cut one 11¼-inch x 4-inch light green cardstock block and adhere to lower half of layout.


Step: 2

Cut one 12-inch x 2½-inch light blue cardstock strip. Adhere to layout as shown.


Step: 3

Adhere photographs to layout as shown.


Step: 4

Cut sun. Using Doodlecharms cartridge and yellow cardstock, cut one 4-inch <sun>. Adhere to upper left corner of page and trim excess.


Step: 5

Cut flowers. Using Stretch your Imagination cartridge and dark green cardstock, cut one 4½-inch and one 5-inch <FlrBee>. Repeat cuts using yellow and orange cardstock and Layers feature. Using dark green cardstock, press Shift and cut one 7-inch <FlrBee-s>. Repeat cut using yellow and orange cardstock and Layers feature. Layer and adhere flowers, discarding bees. Adhere flowers to layout as shown. Accent flowers with buttons tied with white thread.


Step: 6

Cut scallop. Using Plantin SchoolBook cartridge and light pink dotted cardstock, cut four ½-inch <scallop>. Adhere beneath light blue cardstock strip. Trim excess.


Step: 7

Cut title. Using dark green cardstock, cut 2-inch letters to spell Spring Planting. Adhere to page as shown.


Step: 8

Cut dragonfly. Using Doodlecharms cartridge and dark pink dotted cardstock, cut one 2-inch <dgnfly>. Repeat cut using light blue cardstock. Using orange cardstock, press Shift and cut one 2-inch <dgnfly-s>. Assemble dragonfly and adhere to page as shown.


Step: 9

Print journaling onto white cardstock and cut into strips. Adhere to page as shown.
