Spring Shimmer Tee
Welcome spring with a shimmery shirt! Make a simple tee magical in minutes with spritzed on color from Tulip® Fabric Spray Paint™ and sparkly butterflies created with Tulip® Sticky Fabric Stencils™ and Tulip® Fashion Glitter™.

- T-Shirt: White
- Plastic Tablecloth
- Scratch Paper
- Paper Towels
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Prewash and dry t-shirt; do not use fabric softener.
Step: 2
Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth and lay t-shirt on prepared surface.
Step: 3
Pinch shirt along the shoulders with one hand, and at the same time pinch the hem, creating “peaks and valleys” within fabric.
Step: 4
Spray Violet Fabric Spray Paint over the “peaks.” Unfold the fabric.
Step: 5
Repeat pinching fabric and spray “peaks” with Hawaiian Fizz.
Step: 6
Repeat once more and lightly spray “peaks” with Grape.
Step: 7
Let shirt dry 1 hour before continuing next step.
Step: 8
Place Fashion Form inside shirt.
Step: 9
Remove butterfly stencils from packaging and press onto shirt in desired order, starting at top left shoulder of shirt and moving down toward bottom hem.
Step: 10
Apply Glitter Bond inside the butterflies with sponge applicator then immediately pour Blue glitter over the Glitter Bond and press with finger to set. Let set for 10 minutes.
Step: 11
Turn the shirt sideways to dump glitter onto a piece of scratch paper and pour back into container for reuse.
Step: 12
Repeat steps to create desired number of butterflies on shirt.
Step: 13
Let dry flat 2 hours. Wait 72 hours to wash. Wash alone (turn inside out). Line dry.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Practice spraying Tulip® Fabric Spray Paint™ on paper towels to get a feel for spray pump before spraying project.
