Project Instructions

Step 1 Place the adhesive in the channel of the cuff. Leaving a 2" tail, begin wrapping the cord around the top of the channel on the bangle, pressing into the adhesive. Continue wrapping, moving down the channel to fill it. Once filled, wrap several times around the bangle. Cross both ends of the cord and wrap several times vertically around the bangle. Use both ends to form a square knot inside the bangle. Tuck ends under the vertical wraps and form a second square knot inside. Trim cord ends.

Step 2 Thread 6" of braided beading thread through the upper left corner of the filigree. String two yellow rounds and thread the wire behind the back of the filigree and up through the hole in the lower right corner of the filigree. Repeat to reinforce the thread path. Cross the ends of the thread and form a square knot. Repeat.

Step 3 Use 1-1/5" of 20 gauge wire to form a simple loop. String the bottom hole of the filigree. Place the bangle against the filigree, hiding the cotton cord knot. String the top hole of the filigree and form a simple loop. Repeat entire step for other half of filigree. If desired, bend the loops down around the filigree so that they do not show from the front of the bracelet.

Tips

For a little extra sparkle, replace the turquoise rounds with crystals or faceted glass rounds.
