Springy Paisleys Bubble Bowl
Stencil a paisley pattern around the outside of a glass bubble bowl for a groovy, springtime look.

- DecoArt® Americana® Gloss Enamels: White, Baby Pink, Festive Green, Citron Green, Razzle Berry
- Glass Bubble Bowl, 8-inch
- Alcohol (to clean glass)
- Brush: #0 Liner
- Container of Water
- Palette or Plastic Plate
- Paper Towels
- Cosmetic Sponge
- Tracing and Transfer Paper
- Craft Knife
- Stylus, optional
- Cardstock or Paper
Clean glassware with alcohol before beginning project and allow to completely dry before painting. Let paint dry between steps.
Trace and transfer two paisley shapes onto cardstock or paper. Use craft knife to cut out shape for stencils.
Position one stencil facing left and the other facing right as you work around bowl. Use cosmetic sponge to pounce shapes with White.
When dry, reposition “left stencil” and pounce in Citron Green. Repeat with “right stencil” and pounce in Baby Pink.
Use liner brush and White to paint comma shape inside each paisley following contours, as shown.
Use liner brush and Razzle Berry to loosely paint small 5-petal flowers inside Citron Green paisleys and Festive Green inside Baby Pink paisleys.
Use brush handle end or stylus to dot Citron Green inside Baby Pink paisleys and Baby Pink inside Citron Green paisleys.
Use brush handle end or stylus and White to dot borders around each paisley.
Allow to cure for 21 days or bake following instructions as follows: Allow painted item to dry for 48 hours. Place glass item in cool oven. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and crack open door. Allow to cool completely before removing from oven. Hand washing recommended for best results.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Allow Gloss Enamels to dry between coats to avoid lifting.
