Material List

  • Krylon® Brushed Metallic- #51255 Satin Nickel
  • "Elegant Fleur De Lis" Stencil Set By Delta Creative, Inc.
  • Plain Black Leather Belt
  • Plain Newsprint Or White Paper
  • Painter’s Tape (Henkel Consumer Adhesives)
 

Project Instructions

Step: 1

1) Starting at the outside tip end, press long border area of stencil firmly to belt, making sure it stays consistently down the center. Mask off areas you do not want painted with newsprint or paper and painter’s tape.


Step: 2

2) Spray over stencil with Satin Nickel paint, then carefully remove and let dry.


Step: 3

3) Repeat Steps 1 - 2 until entire belt has been painted.


Tips

Do not use printed newspaper or dyed paper as a masking material, as the colors may transfer onto project when painting.
