Material List
- Krylon® Brushed Metallic- #51255 Satin Nickel
- "Elegant Fleur De Lis" Stencil Set By Delta Creative, Inc.
- Krylon Easy-Tac Repositionable Adhesive, #7020
- Plain Black Leather Belt
- Plain Newsprint or White Paper
- Painter’s Tape (Henkel Consumer Adhesives)
- Thick cardboard sheet (approximately 13” x 17”)
Project Instructions
Step: 1
1) Apply Repositionable Adhesive to back of stencil and press firmly to one side of upper jean leg near seam. Place cardboard sheet under the jeans and stencil and carefully fold excess fabric underneath. Mask off areas you do not want painted with paper and painter’s tape.
Step: 2
2) Spray over one side of scroll design with Satin Nickel paint, then carefully remove stencil and let dry.
Step: 3
3) Reposition stencil so that the other side of the scroll design meets up with the first one, mask off, paint, then let dry.
Step: 4
4) Repeat process to create just one scroll on the other lower jean leg.
