- Stencil Décor® Stencil Blank or Transfer Paper
- Brushes:
#1 Liner
Flat: ¼-inch, ½-inch
Stencil: 3/16-inch, ¼-inch, ½-inch - 5-inch Square Canvases (3)
- 9-inch x 12-inch Glimmer Felt Sheets: White (2)
- 5/8-inch wide Pink/White Polka Dot Ribbon
- Craft Knife and Blades (if cutting your own stencils)
- Scalloped Pinking Shears
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Ruler
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Paint top half of each canvas with Light Blue and bottom half with Lime Yellow as shown.
Step: 2
Apply two coats of Hologram Glitter over Lime Yellow allowing drying time between each coat.
Step: 3
Cut stencil for each part of all three fairy babies, or transfer pattern to canvases as shown.
Step: 4
Mix 1 part Tangerine to 3 parts Wicker White for faces, arms and legs.
Step: 5
Paint or stencil fairy babies referring to photo for color placement. Apply 2 coats of Hologram Glitter to wings and wands.
Step: 6
Add dress details, hair, wand stick, arms, legs and starbursts with liner brush.
Step: 7
Apply eyes and mouth using opposite end of smallest paintbrush. Lightly stencil Baby Pink cheeks with smallest stencil brush making sure it is fairly dry.
Step: 8
Randomly apply Hologram Glitter dots to top half of canvases using opposite end of paintbrush.
Step: 9
Measure and cut three 6-inch squares from Glimmer felt using scalloped pinking shears.
Step: 10
Cut three 8-inch lengths of ribbon, tie in a knot at center point and glue to backs of canvases. Knot should be 3-inches from top of canvas.
Step: 11
Glue felt squares to backs of canvases.
