Assemble cottage according to package instructions and let dry.
Prepare icing according to packet directions and tint ½ red. Leave remaining ½ white.
Use red icing to outline and fill in front door with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Use white icing to outline door, window and peak of door.
Use red icing to decorate stripes on door peak and attach red berry (cut in half, horizontally) on peak. Use white icing to attach white mini dot candy for doorknob.
Use white icing to outline windows. Decorate and use extra line of icing for windowsill.
Use red icing to decorate stripes on windowsills.
Use white icing to attach red berry (cut in half, horizontally) above windows and to attach alternating red/white mini dot candies on either sides of berries.
Use scissors to cut green leaves to resemble evergreen branches and use white icing to assemble branches to create wreath above door.
Cut two red gumdrop jelly rings from kit in half and attach above side windows with white icing.
Use white icing to decorate lines under peaks and on house corners.
Use red icing to decorate stripes on house corner lines.
Ice roof smooth with red icing.
Use white icing to decorate icicle lines on roof and attach red mini dot candies on tops of lines and white mini dot candies on bottom of icicle lines.
Use white icing to decorate icicles on house eaves and roof peak.
Decorate line of white icing on roof peak and attach 5 red pinwheel candies, leaving room at back end for gingerbread pop.
To decorate the 3 (single) gingerpops cookies, roll three 1" balls of white fondant and shape into chef’s hats. Use toothpick to make indentations in hats. Use icing from cookie kit to pipe dot eyes, nose and outline mouth. Outline aprons, fill in with zigzags and smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Attach hats to gingerpops with white icing from the house kit. Attach red mini dot candies to one hand on each gingerpop.
Ice base with white icing. Use scissors to cut green leaves to resemble evergreen branches and attach around base of house.
Attach one gingerpop on roof with icing from house kit and attach red pinwheel candy to hand with same house kit icing.
Attach remaining two gingerpops to house base with icing from house kit. Cut black shoestring licorice and attach in hands of gingerpop on right side of house. Fill mini baking cup with icing and position one end of licorice in icing. Fill another mini baking cup with red and white mini dot candies and position next to ginger pop on left side of house.
