Material List
- T-Shirt, Adult – Cali Blue
- Scissors
- Needle and Thread
Project Instructions
Step 1 Lay T-shirt flat and cut up the front of shirt (front side only). See photo.
Step 2 Cut off sleeves leaving about 3" at top.
Step 3 Cut a 2" tie from the front bottom. Tie together in middle.
Step 4 From the outside of the tie, cut down and create a rounded edge on both sides and the back. See photo.
Step 5 Cut a rounded edge on the top of the vest. See Photo.
Step 6 Roll the fabric on the front opening and stitch together, close to the tie area. Only four stitches are needed to hold in place.
Step 7 Roll the fabric on the sleeves and stitch on the top to hold it in place. Only four stitches are needed to hold in place.
