  • Computer and Ink-Jet Printer
  • Fabric: 27-inches x 83-inches (2 yards, 11-inches)
  • Red Bandanas (2)
  • Scissors

    Cricut Expression® Personal Electronic Cutter
    Cricut® Old West Cartridge
    Cricut Expression Mat: 12-inch x 24-inch
    Cardstock: Black
 

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Instructions WITHOUT Cricut Expression Machine
Create banner design on computer. Print design onto blank transparencies.


Step: 2

Use Yudu manual for instructions to burn design onto prepared screens.


Step: 3

Cut fabric to desired size. Fray edges.


Step: 4

Use chocolate ink to pull TATE, cowboy hat, wagon, and lasso onto banner as shown. Use red ink to pull FAMILY and Roundup onto banner as shown. Wash screens and let dry between pulls.


Step: 5

Use bandanas to tie banner into place as shown.


Step: 6

Instructions WITH Cricut Expression Machine
Cut TATE FAMILY: Using Old West cartridge and black cardstock, select Board feature, select Fit to Page mode, and cut letters to spell TATE. Using black cardstock, cut 9-inch letters to spell FAMILY.


Step: 7

Cut Roundup: Using 12-inch x 24-inch mat and black cardstock, select Portrait mode, select Fit to Page mode, select Flourish feature, and cut one <CntryGrl>.


Step: 8

Cut lasso: Using black cardstock, select Fit to Page mode, select Icon feature, and cut one <5>.


Step: 9

Cut cowboy hat and wagon: Using two sheets of black cardstock and 12-inch x 24-inch mat, select Portrait mode, select Fit to Page mode, select Icon feature, and cut one <4>. and one <From>.


Step: 10

Burn cuts onto prepared screens. You will need to cut the cowboy hat, wagon, and Roundup into two pieces.


Step: 11

Cut fabric to desired size. Fray edges.


Step: 12

Use chocolate ink to pull TATE, cowboy hat, wagon, and lasso onto banner as shown. Use red ink to pull FAMILY and Roundup onto banner as shown. Wash screens and let dry between pulls.


Step: 13

Use bandanas to tie banner into place as shown.
