Step: 1

Instructions WITHOUT Cricut Expression Machine
Using computer, create a design that says Tate family reunion. Create a rope border and saddle. Design should fit in a 5½-inch x 8¼-inch area with a small margin all around.

Step: 2

Print design onto a blank transparency. Follow instructions in Yudu manual to burn design onto a screen.

Step: 3

Cut one 5½-inch x 8¼-inch block of beige cardstock. Ink edges. Tape over everything but Tate. Using red ink, pull Tate onto beige block. Wash screen and let dry.

Step: 4

Tape over everything but family reunion. Using sky ink, pull family reunion onto the beige block. Wash screen and let dry.

Step: 5

Tape over everything but border and saddle. Using chocolate ink, pull border and saddle onto beige block. Wash screen and let dry.

Step: 6

Cut one 8¾-inch x 11½-inch block of red cardstock. Fold in half to create card base. Adhere beige block to card front.

Step: 7

Tie jute to look like a lasso. Adhere lasso to saddle using glue dots.

Step: 8

Instructions WITH Cricut Expression Machine
Cut TATE family reunion: Using Cricut Expression machine, Old West cartridge, and black cardstock, cut 1¼-inch letters to spell TATE. Using black cardstock, cut 1-inch letters to spell family reunion. Follow instructions in Yudu manual to burn TATE family reunion onto a screen.

Step: 9

Cut one 5½-inch x 8¼-inch block of beige cardstock. Ink edges. Tape over family reunion. Using red ink, pull TATE onto beige block. Wash screen and let dry.

Step: 10

Tape over TATE. Using sky ink, pull family reunion onto the same beige block. Wash screen and let dry.

Step: 11

Cut one 8¾-inch x 11½-inch block of red cardstock. Fold in half to create card base. Adhere beige block to card front.

Step: 12

Cut rope frame: Using brown cardstock, select Flourish feature and cut two 8-inch <Invited>. Using brown cardstock, select Flourish feature, press Shift, and cut one 8-inch <Youre>. Ink all edges and details. Adhere one rope frame over beige block as shown. Adhere second frame and knot to first frame as shown using foam squares.

Step: 13

Cut saddle: Using brown cardstock, select Flourish feature and cut two 3¼-inch <HppyTrls>. Layer together. Ink edges. Adhere to card as shown using foam squares. Tie jute to look like a lasso. Adhere lasso to saddle as shown using glue dots.
