Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut your white cardstock piece to 7"x7". Fold this in half to create a 7"x3½" card. Cut the card down to a pencil shape using this piece, ensuring that the fold remains intact on the left side. *Note: If the top corners are still square, use your corner rounder punch to give them a rounded edge as shown.

Step 2 Cut a 1¾"x3½" strip of the red striped cardstock. Adhere this to the top of your pencil, rounding the edges to match with the cardstock section below.

Step 3 Cut a ½"x3½" strip of the blue with white swirls print. Adhere this just below the red striped section.

Step 4 Cut a 2¾"x3½" strip of the yellow cardstock (this should cover the remaining area of the pencil before it starts into the “lead” section). Adhere this just below the blue with white swirls print.

Step 5 Cover the bottom tip of the pencil with a piece of the blue with white swirls print.

Step 6 Add facial features to the yellow section cut from the blue with white swirls print, the red stripe print, and the white cardstock. Add in your set of wiggle eyes.

Step 7 Write your personalized message inside and deliver to the lucky recipient.

Tips

• Change up the colors and prints of the card to match your desired style and look. • If you don’t have access to a personal die cut machine with a pencil shape or facial features as shown, look online to find a template for these items or create your own as desired.
