Project Instructions

Sandbox to smooth any rough areas or edges, then remove dust with a paper towel.

Using the 1" brush apply two smooth even coats of Buttermilk to the entire box; let dry.

Set doily on top of the box.

Using Fawn and a stencil brush, pounce color over the patterned area of the doily and around edges. Remove doily and let dry.

Apply one coat of varnish, let dry.

Apply desired images from the Charm Collection to the acrylic handle and randomly stamp around the sides and on the corners of the box using Fawn.

Pounce paint onto the stamp image using a make-up sponge. (See tips below.)

Apply desired images from the Damask Chair and Vintage Crown collections, one at a time, to the acrylic handle and stamp using Light Cinnamon.

Add desired verse using Light Cinnamon thinned with water and the10/0 brush.

Finish with two coats of varnish.

Tips

Clean-up is easiest if done immediately after you use the stamps. Simply clean with soap and water and use an old toothbrush to get into the crevices. If you cannot or forget to clean the stamp right away spray the stamp with rubbing alcohol and let sit a few minutes. Then clean with soap and water as usual.
