  • Deerskin Leather Lace – Brown (40" Divided)
  • Faceted Beads, Big-hole (3)
  • Iris Pave Donut – Golden (1)
  • Iris Bicones, 4mm – Amethyst (12)

  • Ball Head Pins – Gold-plated (12)

Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut the leather lace into two 20" pieces.

Step 2 Fold the leather lace in half and and string a lark’s head knot on the pave donut.

Step 3 String a large hole bead onto both strands of lace up to the lark’s head knot.

Step 4 Separate the strands and tie an overhand knot on one of them snugly to the large hole bead to secure it.

Step 5 Tie a series of overhand knots on both strands for about 2" of the lace. Stagger the knots.

Step 6 Repeat Steps 2-5 for the other side.

Step 7 Pass all four strands of the lace through the remaining big hole bead in opposite directions.

Step 8 On a ball head pin, string one bicone and one seed bead. Make a wrapped loop to close. Repeat for a total of eight dangles.

Step 9 On a ball head pin, string one gold filigree round bead and one bicone. Make a wrapped loop to close. Repeat for a total of four dangles.

Step 10 Fold over the end of one of the lace strands and secure with about 1-1½" of gold-plated wire. Repeat for the other ends of the lace.

Step 11 Open a jump ring and add that to the loop of the leather lace. string three dangles on the jump ring and close securely. Repeat for the remaining ends of the leather lace.

Tip: To wear this bracelet, slide the lace through the big hole bead. Slip on the bracelet and pull the lace tightly to secure.

Tips

You may need to use a bit of wire, or a thin skewer, to gently push the lace through the bead.
