Project Instructions
Wash T-shirt and do not dry.
Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.
Lay out damp T-shirt on covered work surface.
Pinch the middle of the shirt and pull up into a tube shape.
Wrap zip ties along the length of your fabric.
Wearing protective gloves from package, mix One-Step dyes according to package instructions.
Apply dye colors in between each of the bound sections.
Once finished dyeing, wrap in plastic surface cover. Let project set for 6-8 hours.
Run shirt under the water in the sink until all the dye is out. The dye is out when the water runs clear! Cut off zip ties and place shirt by itself in the washer and set to large load. Put it on the hottest water suitable for fabric and use a little laundry detergent. Dry in dryer or line dry.
