Step 1 Dab some Mustard Seed, Broken China and Fired Brick distress paints in different parts of a 5"x7" blank canvas. Blend colors with wet paintbrush. Let dry.
Step 2 Cut a 5½"x3¾" piece from Melange tissue wrap.
Step 3 Attach tissue on painted canvas with Glue N' Seal, leaving about ½" from top and left of the canvas.
Step 4 Embed the tissue wrap into the canvas with some Picket Fence distress paint. Go over it with the other colors as shown.
Step 5 Use the distress paints from Step 1 to color a 3¼"x4¼" piece of cardstock. Blend the colors and let dry.
Step 6 Mount cling stamp to grid block. Stamp Eiffel Tower from the French Market on the colored cardstock using Jet Black Archival Inks™ pad.
Step 7 Ink the edges of the cardstock with Walnut Stain distress ink pad.
Step 8 Dab embossing ink pad on the stamped cardstock, cover it with clear ultra-thick embossing enamel, and heat emboss with Ranger® Inkssentials™Heat It Craft Tool. Set aside to cool down.
Step 9 Using Jet Black Archival Inks™ pad and French Market stamp set, stamp Carte Postale on the top left corner of canvas, the Harlequin pattern near the bottom right corner, and the Flourish a couple of times near the Harlequin. Support the canvas with your fingers from the back for clearer stamped images.
Step 10 Attach the heat-embossed Eiffel Tower piece from Step 9 on the canvas, overlapping the tissue wrap using Popit Shapes -- Squares.
Step 11 Dab Picket Fence distress paint on the Word Band ‘The Journey Awakens the Soul’ so paint gets in the grooves. Wipe off excess paint.
Step 12 Rub Jet Black Archival Inks™ pad across the painted Word Band to create greater contrast.
Step 13 Cut two 6" pieces of crinkle ribbon, color each with Crushed Olive distress stain. When dry, thread the ribbons through the Word Band.
Step 14 Attach the Word Band with Popit Shapes -- Squares below the Eiffel Tower block and wrap the ribbon around the canvas and glue to the back.
Step 15 Attach Chit Chat sticker ‘discover’ below the Word Band and doodle a frame around it with a black pen.
