Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut a 16" length of cable chain. Fold the chain in the middle. Leave 1" on each side of the fold, and then attach a 6mm 18-gauge jump ring through both sides of the chain. Close the jump ring. This loop will attach around the button that will be attached to the opposite end of the bracelet.

Step 2 String one carved loop on each half of the chain. Slide one metal-lined bead onto both chains.

Step 3 Repeat Step 2 until there are nine beads and 10 pairs of carved loops strung onto the chain. The colors of the beads can alternate, or all beads can be the same color.

Step 4 Slide an open jump ring through both chain ends, then through the shank of the button. Close the jump ring.

String enough beads so that about 1" of the chains remains exposed. This allows the beads to move freely, and makes the bracelet flexible and comfortable to wear. If you need to make the bracelet bigger, add one inch of chain for each additional bead.
