Tulip & Moss Planters
Do a double take - this “stainless steel” planter is made from paper and a block of STYROFOAM™ brand foam. Add your choice of flowers, top with moss, and you’ve got a stylish and sophisticated floral arrangement.

Material List
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam Blocks: 2-inch x 4-inch x 8-inch (4)
- Scrapbook Papers with Hammered Metal Finish: 12-inch x 12-inch sheets (4)
- Flowers of choice (we used): Silk Tulips (6 white, 4 light green)
- Reindeer Moss (1 bag)
- Floral Shears
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Floral Pins
- Low-Temp Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Thick White Craft Glue
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Use floral pins and low-temp glue to glue together two foam blocks, forming a 4-inch x 4-inch x 8-inch base. Repeat with two remaining blocks of STYROFOAM brand foam.
Step: 2
Cut from scrapbook paper four 4-inch x 4-inch x 9-inch strips and four 4-inch x 4-inch squares. Use craft glue to adhere paper to front and back of foam block; fold ends of each paper strip around corners and adhere ends to sides. Glue 4-inch x 4-inch square on each side.
Step: 3
Use floral shears to trim the tulip stems to approximately 8-inches to 9-inches and insert them into the top of the base. Trim leaves and add between tulips to fill in. Use hot glue to secure the tulips.
Step: 4
Fill in top of planter with reindeer moss.
