- (2) 6mm light sapphire glass faceted rounds (B)
- (4) 8mm blue Taiwan dyed howlite faceted rounds (C)
- (6) 18mm turquoise dyed howlite drops (D)
- (2) 4mm turquoise dyed howlite rounds (E)
- (2) 3-loop silver plated chandelier earring findings
- (2) silver 2-inch headpins
- (10) silver 2-inch eyepins
- (1) pair silver ear wires
- 20" silver 24 gauge wires
Cut the 24-gauge wire into (2) 10-inch pieces.
Pass the tail of one piece of wire through the top loop of the 3-loop chandelier earring finding and bend it downward so that it conforms to the shape of the teardrop. Wrap the long end of the wire around the finding twice.
String 1 A onto the wire. Wrap the long end of the wire around the finding twice to secure the bead to the outside of the chandelier finding. Repeat this step 4 more times, following the shape of the finding.
Wrap the wire once between each of the loops at the bottom of the finding.
Wrap the wire twice around the finding after the third loop. Repeat the instructions for Stringing 1 A onto the wire, following the shape of the finding up toward the top loop.
Wrap the wire around the base of the top loop twice, pass the wire through the loop and down underneath the loops you just wrapped to secure the beads to the finding. Trim the tail of the wire.
Repeat steps 1 more time to create a total of two wire wrapped chandelier findings.
Pass an eyepin through 1B. Make a simple loop. Repeat 1 more time for a total of 2 B links.
Pass an eyepin through 1C. Make a simple loop. Repeat 1 more time for a total of 2 C links.
Pass an eyepin through 1D leaving about 1/2-inch of space between the bead and the eye of the eyepin. Make a bend in the eyepin so that it conforms to the shape of the bead.
Bend the tail over the top of the bead so that it crosses the neck of the eyepin.
Wrap the tail of the eyepin around the neck of the eyepin toward the eye of the pin and trim the excess tail.
Repeat the three previous eyepin steps (shown immediately above) 5 more times for a total of 6 D drops
Slide 1D and 1E onto a headpin. Make a simple loop about 1/4 inch from the top of the E bead. Make a large loop and attach this drop to the wire wrapped finding from the chandelier finding’s topmost loop so that it hangs in the center of the wire wrapped finding. Repeat this step 1 more time, attaching the two drops to the two wire wrapped findings.
Attach a B link to two of the D drops. Attach the B link to the center loop of two chandelier findings. Attach each of the 4 remaining D drops to one of the bottom loops of the chandelier findings.
Attach 1 C link to the top of one of the wire wrapped findings. Repeat for final wire wrapped finding.
Attach each ear wire to a C link.
