  • RED HEART® “Super Saver®”: 334 Buff B (for starting chain)
  • Crochet Hooks: K-10.5 [6.5mm] and I-9 [5.5mm]
  • Yarn Needle

Project Instructions

Step: 1

9 sts = 4½-inches in single crochet. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge given.

Step: 2

Finished Size
Scarf measures 4½-inches wide x 47-inches (11.43 x 119.38 cm).

Step: 3

Work single crochet stitches using cord between the pom-poms. Make two scs with cord between each pair of pom-poms. Keep the pom-poms toward the wrong side of your work.

Step: 4

A, B = color A, B
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
st(s) = stitch (es).

Step: 5

When using Pomp-a-Doodle, work stitches with cord between pom-poms. Do not pull pom-poms through stitches.

Step: 6

With larger hook and B, ch 9.

Step: 7

Fasten off.

Step: 8

Row 1: With smaller hook, join A in first ch with sc, sc in next 8 ch - 9 sc.

Step: 9

Row 2: Ch 2, turn, sc in each st to end.

Step: 10

Repeat Row 2 until yarn is finished, ending at the end of a row.

Step: 11

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
