Step: 1

Wash and dry shirt to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener. Lay shirt flat on prepared work surface and insert a piece of cardboard between layers to prevent paint seepage.

Step: 2

Use masking tape to create a checkered pattern on top right and bottom left corners of shirt. Refer to photo.

Step: 3

Pour Blackout Cannon Fabric Paint into Paint Cannon. Cover middle of shirt with paper towels to protect from paint overspray. Following directions on Paint Cannon package, lightly spray Blackout over taped off areas.

Step: 4

Use paper towels to dab paint puddles on tape then remove tape. Let dry.

Step: 5

Position Peace stencil from Love & Peace pack vertically along bottom right edge of tee as shown. Cover surrounding areas with paper towels.

Step: 6

Pour Rush Hour Cannon Fabric Paint into Paint Cannon and spray over Peace stencil. Remove stencil and let dry.

Step: 7

Position Peace Sign stencil onto the middle section of tee and cover surrounding areas with paper towels. Pour Skyline Cannon fabric Paint into Paint Cannon and spray over stencil. Remove stencil and let dry.

Step: 8

Position City Scene stencil from Urban Graffiti pack onto the bottom edge of tee where shown. Spray Skyline onto the top ¼ of stencil. Pour Blackout into Paint Cannon and spray remainder of stencil. Remove stencil and let dry.

Step: 9

Randomly spray Rush Hour, Green Means Go, Cosmopolitan, Skyline and Blackout all over tee. *Tip: To get a splattered effect, hold down spray nozzle half way and aim where desired. Let dry.

Step: 10

Use Paint Taggers to randomly tag areas of tee with pops of color. Let dry.

Step: 11

Use the Blackout Big Phat Fabric Marker to write “Hero” on tee in desired font. Add detail with SoHo Fabric Marker. Let dry and remove cardboard.
