Material List
- Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kits™ - Rainbow
- T-Shirt -White
- Plastic Tablecloth or Trash Bag
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Prewash T-shirt to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.
Step: 2
Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth or trash bag. Lay damp T-shirt on prepared surface.
Step: 3
Wearing rubber gloves, add water to Violet, Blue and Green dye bottles. Replace caps tightly and shake bottles until dye is dissolved.
Step: 4
Squeeze Violet dye onto top of tee with some portions extending down toward center of tee to create the look of dripping paint. Refer to photo.
Step: 5
Repeat step with Blue dye under the Violet and Green under the Blue, leaving very bottom of tee white. Refer to photo.
Step: 6
Cover T-shirt with plastic tablecloth/trash bag and let sit 4 to 6 hours. Wash in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap and dry in dryer.
