Project Instructions

Step: 1

Cut the heart and hallf heart from Red felt.

Step: 2

Cut the letters from Pink felt, the large heart from White felt and the smallest heart from Red felt.

Step: 3

Cut the scallop trim from White felt. Glue the trim to the back edge of the half heart. Let dry.

Step: 4

Use double stick tap to tape the heart pocket to the front of the heart.

Step: 5

Using the 1/8” round paper punch, punch stitching holes around the edge of the heart pocket.

Step: 6

Remove the tap and align the stitching holes.

Step: 7

Apply tape to the end of the Pink ribbon to create a “shoelace” end.

Step: 8

Knot one end of the ribbon several times. Starting at the back of the heart, stitch the two hearts together, going in and out of the holes.

Step: 9

At the end of the last hole, tie several knots in the ribbon, then trim away the excess ribbon.

Step: 10

Glue the letters and hears on the pocket. Glue crystal rhinestones between the ribbon stitching and on the small heart.

Step: 11

Punch two holes at the top of the heart for the ribbon hanger.

Step: 12

Knot one end of the ribbon. Starting at the front of the heart, thread the ribbon through the first hole, then back through the second hole. Knot off the ribbon, and then trim away excess.
