Valentine Sweetheart Picture Frame
An old-fashioned romantic frame makes a lovely gift for a spouse or special couple.

- Plaid® Apple Barrel® Acrylic Paint: White, Pure Bronze
- Plaid® Mod Podge® Satin
- Wooden Frame
- Scrabble® Game Tiles or Alphabet Tiles
- Old Key
- Decorative Paper (1 sheet each): Red Patterned, Floral (complimentary colors)
- Pink Ribbon (1-yard)
- Clean Rag
- Foam Plate
- Container of Water
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Decorative-edged Scissors
- Craft Knife
Basecoat the frame with 2 coats of White. Let dry.
Sand the inside and outside of the frame with sandpaper. Brush away crumbs.
To antique the box, squeeze a small amount of Pure Bronze onto a foam plate. Dip a clean, damp rag into the paint and wipe gently across the frame. Let dry.
Trace the frame onto floral paper. Cut out the shape of the frame ½-inch to 1-inch smaller than the frame. Mod Podge the floral paper to the center of the frame. When dry, use a craft knife to cut out the heart center.
Use the decorative-edged scissors to cut ½-inch wide strips of red paper. Mod Podge strips in a square on the frame front. Let dry
Cut out flowers or other motif from floral paper; use Mod Podge to adhere to frame.
Glue letter tiles spelling “LOVE” to the frame.
Tie a ribbon bow around the key. Glue the key to the right side of the frame.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Embellish with any recycled items.
