Dishcloth: Approx. 9" [23cm] square
Blanket: Approx. 63" [160cm] square

Gauge
13 hdc and 10 rows = 4" [10cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
Notes:
- To join new color, work to last 2 loops on hook. Draw new color through last 2 loops then proceed in new color.
- Carry color not in use across top of previous row and work sts around it to prevent stranding.
- Ch 2 at beg of each row does not count as hdc.


Blanket
9-Patch Square
Make 9 with A as Color 1 and D as Color 2.
Make 8 with A as Color 1 and B as Color 2.
Make 8 with B as Color 1 and D as Color 2.

With Color 1, ch 32.
1st row: (RS). With Color 1, 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each of next 9 ch. With Color 2, 1 hdc in each of next 10 ch. With Color 1, 1 hdc in each of last 10 ch. Turn. 30 hdc.
2nd row: With Color 1, ch 2. 1 hdc in each of first 10 hdc. With Color 2, 1 hdc in each of next 10 hdc. With Color 1, 1 hdc in each of last 10 hdc. Turn.
3rd to 8th rows: Rep last row 6 times more. Join Color 2 at end of 8th row.
9th row: With Color 2, ch 2. 1 hdc in each of first 10 hdc. With Color 1, 1 hdc in each of next 10 hdc. With Color 2, 1 hdc in each of last 10 hdc. Turn.
10th to 16th rows: Rep last row 7 times more. Join Color 1 at end of 16th row.
17th to 24th rows: As 2nd row.
Fasten off.

Solid Square (make 4 with B and 20 with C)
Ch 32.
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 30 hdc.
2nd to 24th rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
Fasten off.

Finishing
Sew Squares tog as shown in diagram.
