Vintage Quilt Zigzag Dishcloth and Blanket (Crochet)

Material List
- Lily® Sugar ‘n Cream® (Solids: 70.9 ga./2.5 ozz, 109m/120 yds., Twists: 56.7 ga./2 oz., 86m/95 yds.) Yarn – Soft Ecru (Contrast A; 13 Balls), Sage Green (Contrast B; 6 Balls) and Green Twist (Contrast C; 7 Balls)
- Note: 1 ball of each color will make 3 dishcloths.
- Crochet Hook, Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) or Size Needed to Obtain Gauge

MEASUREMENTS
Dishcloth: Approx 7¾" [19.5cm] square
Blanket: Approx 47" [119cm] square.
GAUGE: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4" [10cm].
ABBREVIATIONS
Approx = Approximately
RS = Right side
Sc = Single crochet
Sc2tog = Draw up a loop in each of next 2 stitches. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook
Sc3tog = Draw up a loop in each of next 3 stitches. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Tog = Together
WS = Wrong side
Yoh = Yarn over hook
INSTRUCTIONS
Dishcloth (1 Blanket Square)
With Color 1, ch 2.
1st row: (RS). 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each sc to last sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
Rep last row until there are 39 sc and ending with WS row.
Next row: With Color B, ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each sc to last 2 sts. Sc2tog. Turn.
Rep last row until there are 3 sts.
Next row: Ch 1. Sc3tog. Fasten off.
Blanket
Make 18 Dishcloths, using A as Color 1 and C as Color 2.
Make 18 Dishcloths, using A as Color 1 and B as Color 2.
Sew 6 Dishcloths tog into 6 strips using flat seam as shown on diagram.
Sew strips tog into Blanket.
