Project Instructions

Stringing will start in the center of the necklace and the pattern repeats up both sides. Cut two 18" pieces of flexible beading wire. String one rose slider onto both strands and center the slider on the beading wire. The stringing patterns given for one side of the necklace are duplicated exactly for the other side.

One one wire, string the following sequence: one green 4mm twist bead, one 6mm rose bicone, one 6x8mm amber rondelle, one heishi spacer, a silver faceted 7x13mm drop, one Heishi spacer, one 6x8mm amber rondelle, one 6mm rose bicone and one green 4mm twist bead.

On the second wire, string one 4mm twist bead, one opaque green rondelle, one heishi spacer, one amber rondelle, one heishi spacer, one opaque green rondelle and one 4mm twist bead.

String a mixed rose spacer onto both wires.

Repeat the same sequence on the opposite side of the rose slider.

String one green 4mm twist bead, one green opaque rondelle, one 6mm rose bicone, one heishi spacer, a silver faceted 7x13mm drop, one heishi spacer, one 6mm rose bicone, one green opaque rondelle and one green 4mm twist bead. Make sure to keep the long sequence on the same wire it was strung on coming out of the middle slider (bottom). Repeat on the opposite side.

String the sequence from the third step on the second (top) wire. Repeat on the opposite side.

String a pink rose slider on each side.

After stringing the second set of pink sliders, string five 4mm green twist beads on the long (bottom) wire. String four 4mm green twist beads on the short (top) wire.

String the following sequence onto both wires, treating them as a single strand: One heishi spacer, one amber rondelle, one opaque green rondelle, and one amber rondelle.

Repeat the sequence a total of four times on both sides of the necklace.

String one more heishi spacer, two bronze size 6 seed beads and a crimp tube. Pull the tension snug and flatten the crimp tube. Cut one of the wires, leave the second wire attached. Repeat on the opposite side, making sure the tension is consistent and snug on both strands before crimping the tube.

String one more seed bead, a crimp tube and one half of the clasp. Pass back through the crimp tube and pull the tension snug. Repeat on the opposite side, attaching the other half of the clasp. Flatten the crimp tubes and trim off any excess wire.
