Project Instructions

Step 1 Wash T-shirt without fabric softener. Do not dry.

Step 2 Cover work surface with disposable table cover. Lay damp shirt flat on work surface.

Step 3 Mix dye according to package instructions.

Step 4 Apply a thick line of pink dye across entire width of the top of shirt. Use wide paintbrush wet with water to quickly blend color downward, applying more dye and wetting brush as needed to get desired color blend.

Step 5 Just below first section, apply a line of orange dye and blend into top color and also downward, adding dye and wetting brush as needed to blend color evenly.

Step 6 Repeat this step with yellow dye, then Lime dye, and ending with turquoise, adding dye and wetting brush as needed to blend colors evenly.

Step 7 Let shirt set six to eight hours.

Step 8 Wash/dry shirt according to dye package instructions.
