Project Instructions
Step 1 You need six strands of floss approximately 36" long, in colors of your choice. Number them 1-2-3-4-5-6. Tie them together at one end leaving about 4" of loose thread above the knot. Tape them to a table top.
Step 2 Take string 1 and make a forward knot on string 2. Now the order is 2-1-3-4-5-6.
Step 3 Take string 1 and make a forward knot with string 3. Now the order is 2-3-1-4-5-6.
Step 4 Keep doing that with string 4, 5 and 6 so that string 1 is last. Now the order is 2-3-4-5-6-1.
Step 5 Repeat Steps 1-3 with string 2. When you have done that, do all the other strings. When all weaving is complete, trim the loose ends to approximately 4".
Step 6 Tightly braid the loose ends of the floss.
Step 7 Once your friendship bracelet is to your desired length, slide it onto the Weave-It links, going under the first bar, over the next two bars and under the last bar in the link.
Step 8 Feed both ends of the bracelet through opposite sides of the large-hole bead that comes with your Weave-It links.
Step 9 Tie a knot in the ends of the braided sections so that the braid will not come through the hole in the bead.
