Projects that have no restrictions…just the sheer joy of creating.
What would you consider to be your signature technique or tip?
One of my favorite ways to create is to look at everyday objects and find a way to use them for a purpose other than originally intended.
When did you first realize you were creative?
As a little girl, I loved to paint, work with clay, I learned to sew and cook, play music…it's in my genes.
What's the coolest thing you've ever created?
That’s easy…my 4 sons!
What inspires you to create?
Anything with a white surface! I just want to add color.
What was your biggest creative goof? How did you fix it?
Well, a BAD haircut once and we all know the only real answer to that one is time. (I cried for quite a while.)
When and where do you feel the most creative?
By myself with good music and plenty of space to play in.
How do you find the time to let your creativity loose?
It’s now a matter of "making" time rather than "finding" it. It's worth every second when I make the time!
What would be in your dream craft room/work space?
I totally LOVE organization. A clean, clear and well-organized space…is like a fresh palette to me. It definitely has to have a sink, and oh…can I have someone to clean up after it looks like a tornado has torn through?
What tools and supplies do you always have on hand?
The better question is…what don't I have on hand? (other than welding supplies and a potter’s wheel and kiln.)
What's your favorite color?
I LOVE COLOR!!! Hmmm…this is hard, but, I'd have to go with either red or yellow.
What projects are you working on now?
Let's see…crocheting a baby afghan, learning how to make clever cake pops and designing some fun stationery and invites.

All of the colors of the Recollections glitters coming to Michaels in early spring.
