Wilton® Candy Cottage Gingerbread House

- Wilton® Small Angled Spatula (or Butter Knife)
- Scissors (or Paring Knife)
- Confectioners’ Sugar
- Granulated Sugar
Assemble cottage according to included instructions.
Outline front door and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Roll out yellow sugared gumdrop and cut into square for front door window. Attach with icing. Outline window with icing. Attach flavored candy for doorknob with dot of icing. Attach sugared gumdrops on top portion of door with dots of icing.
To make wreath, cut green leaves into small pieces and coat with granulated sugar. Pipe circle of icing above the door and position green leaf pieces to form a wreath. Roll out red sugared gumdrop on surface covered with granulated sugar and cut two triangles to create bow shape. Cut tip off sugared gumdrop and attach to bow for knot. Attach bow to wreath with dots of icing.
For windows, roll out miniature sugared gumdrops on a surface covered with granulated sugar. Cut into shapes for front windows. Attach to front of house with dots of icing. Outline windows and panes. Attach flavored candies to sides of windows. Pipe icicles on windowsills.
Decorate lines of icing on house corners and under eaves.
Ice roof smooth. Pipe six horizontal lines on each side of the roof, ¾" apart. Attach flavored candies in a horizontal row between lines of icing with dots of icing.
Decorate line of icing on peak of house and attach sugared gumdrops on top.
Decorate icicles on eaves and peak of house. Attach sugared gumdrops, cut in half horizontally, to front and back eaves of house.
Ice base fluffy, leaving room for front doorway path.
