Project Instructions

Prepare cookie recipe according to package instructions. Position cookie sticks following package instructions; secure with a small amount of additional cookie dough. Bake according to package instructions. Cool.

To decorate snowmen with yellow and blue scarves: Use tip 3 and white royal icing to outline and pipe-in bodies; smooth with spatula. Use tip 3 and black royal icing to outline and fill in hats (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Use tip 3 and black royal icing to pipe dot eyes, mouth and buttons.

Use tip 3 and orange icing to pipe pull-out nose. Use tip 3 and yellow or blue royal icing to pipe bands on hats and scarves.

Use tip 3 and green icing to pipe leaf on yellow hat band with tip 1 red royal icing dot centers.

Use tip 3 and yellow or blue icing to pipe scarves with pull-out fringe.

Use tip 3 and red royal icing to pipe dots on yellow scarf and tip 3 and white royal icing to pipe dots on blue scarf and hat band.

To decorate Santa: Ice face smooth with copper royal icing. Use tip 3 and red royal icing to outline and fill in hat and body (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Over pipe hat and arms with tip 3 and red royal icing. Use tip 3 and black royal icing to pipe outline belt, dot eyes and mouth, and fill in shoes.

Pipe tip 3 white royal icing zigzag brim, beard and moustache. Use tip 3 green royal icing to pipe gloves. Use tip 3 to pipe zigzag trims on cuffs, ankles and pompom on hat; outline yellow buckle with tip 2.

To decorate gingerbread boy with green bow tie: Ice front of cookie smooth with brown royal icing. Use tip 3 and red royal icing to outline and fill in shirt (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Use tip 3 and green royal icing to outline and fill in shorts (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Use tip 3 and white icing to pipe curly hair, zigzags on sleeves, ankles and arms. Outline feet and mouth; pipe dot buttons and eyes.

Use tip 3 and green royal icing to pipe bow tie.

For all, wrap matching ribbon on sticks attaching with royal icing.
