Project Instructions

Draw a 9" diameter circle around the top of the pumpkin and cut it out using the Versa-Tool™

Cut two small holes at the top of the pumpkin on opposite sides for the handle.

To create the handle, twist two green chenille stems together to create 1 thick chenille stem. Repeat with the other two green chenille stems.

Overlap the two twisted chenille stems to create a length of 18" and twist these together where they overlap.

Insert the ends of the handle into the small holes on the top of the pumpkin and hot glue into place.

Twist the black chenille chenille stems onto the top of the handle as shown.

Write desired sentiment on the pumpkin with pencil.

Paint on sentiment and let dry.

Apply "drips" around the edge of hole using clear school glue and paintbrush.

Hold the pumpkin over the newspaper and sprinkle the green glitter over the clear school glue.

Apply the hot glue around the opening at the top of the pumpkin and attach the green marabou boa.

To create the spider, cut four blue chenille stems in half, then lay them all together and twist together at the center.

Hot glue the purple pom pom to the center of the chenille stems.

Bend the chenille stems to create creepy legs.

Hot glue the black pom poms onto the purple pom pom for the eyes, then glue the wiggle eyes to the black pom poms.

Hot glue the silver chenille stem to the spiders back, trim the silver chenille stem (if needed) and twist it onto the handle so the spider is hanging from the handle.
