Witch Pumpkin on Broom
No Halloween celebration is complete without a witch on her broom. Add this hauntingly happy décoration to a party table for the perfect Halloween centerpiece.

- Craft Pumpkins: 6½-inch, 9½-inch
- Wooden Plaque: 9-inch x 12-inch
- Creative Paper Clay
- Sulyn Glitter Glue: Green
- Creatology Craft Foam: Lime Green
- Americana® Acrylic Paint: Green, Black, Warm White, Yellow
- Bandana: Black
- Ribbon of choice
- Walnut Hollow® Creative Versa-Tool
- Black Fur Trim
- Halloween Pigtail Headband
- Halloween Broom
- Witch Hat (or create your own)
- Foam Board (for moon)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Paintbrush
- Craft Glue
- Paper Towels
- Paper Plate
- Low Heat Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Paint pumpkins with green and plaque with black. Let dry.
Step: 2
Follow directions on paper clay to create nose on smaller pumpkin. Add lips and eyebrows with paper clay if desired. Let dry. Paint face as shown or as desired.
Step: 3
Using Creative Versa-Tool cut small hole in bottom of smaller pumpkin so that the stem of the larger pumpkin will fit inside hole. Glue together, creating body.
Step: 4
Brush on a light coat of green glitter glue, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Let dry.
Step: 5
Cut hole in front and back of bottom pumpkin so that broom handle will fit through. Insert broom into holes as shown.
Step: 6
Wrap black bandana around neckline. Use ribbon to secure around pumpkin with some of the bandana folded over, as shown. Tie ribbon into a bow at center front.
Step: 7
Glue black fur trim around head for hair. Glue headband on top of hair. Glue hat in place.
Step: 8
Cut hands from green foam and glue to sides of body and to the broom handle as shown.
Step: 9
Cut 10-inch circle from foam board, paint yellow and let dry.
Step: 10
Glue moon to back of witch head. Glue pumpkin base centered on plaque.
