Wooden Spool Pencil Holder Gift
Bet you didn’t think another school stack would catch your eye—until you saw this one!! Newest in our line of stacks, the Edumacation stack, may flaunt traditional learning icons and cliché prints in “all-too-familiar” shades—but the vintage influence on modern elements makes just enough of a different to knock your socks off. Be sure to check out all of our project ideas—you’ll see just how much you need it!

- Baker's Twine
- Scrapbook Adhesive

Take out wooden spool. Select desired print and cut a strip long enough to wrap around the middle of the spool, trimming the ends with pinking shears. Adhere in place. Take two pieces of baker's twine (same length) and wrap them around the middle of the spool, tying them in a knot to secure in place.
Cut out a tag from one of the prints in the stack. Using alphabet stickers, spell out the teacher's name on the tag. Cut out the “teacher” tag from the stack and adhere in place with foam squares to the top section of the tag.
Embellish by cutting out icons and shapes from the stack and adhering them directly to the tag or with adhesive foam squares.
Attach the tag to a pencil, insert pencil through the center of the spool, and let your child take the gift to his or her favorite teacher.
