Woven Ribbon Wine Bag

- Holiday Ribbon (5 Yds each of 2 Styles), 1 1/2" Wide, Coordinating Colors of Choice
- Ribbon (1 Yd.), 2 1/2" Wide, Color of Choice
- Fusible Lightweight Interfacing, 13 1/2" x 16" x 2 1/2"
- Needle and Thread
- Coording (1 Yd)
- Stick Pins
- Iron
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Bottle of Wine
Project Instructions
Cut (10) 13.5" lengths of Purple Crinkle ribbon and pin vertically to interfacing at ribbon ends.
Cut (9) 15.5" lengths of Purple Paisley ribbon and pin horizontally to interfacing at one end of each ribbon.
Weave ribbon and secure each end with pins.
Use iron to fuse interfacing to back of ribbon.
Fold ribbon weaving in half lengthwise right sides together, and sew ¼" side and bottom seams.
Cut (2) 16" length of Purple Animal Print ribbon and fold in half lengthwise (right sides touching).
Stitch ends together with ¼" seam.
Pin cuff to wine bag with right sides touching. Stitch ¼" seam.
Cut another 16" length of Purple Animal Print ribbon.
Cut 2.5" x 16" length of fusible interfacing and pin to wrong side of 2.5" ribbon.
Stitch ends together with ¼" seam.
Pin cuff to cuff with wrong sides touching.
Use iron to fuse cuffs together.
Insert wine into bag.
Cut 1 yard of Gold Cording and knot at ends.
Tie cording in bow around neck of bottle.
