Step: 1

Cover work surface with newspaper. Tear tissue paper into approximately 1” squares; enough to generously cover the ornament. Carefully remove metal cap and loop from ornament and set aside.

Step: 2

In a paper cup, mix Original Tacky Glue with water to a milk consistency.

Step: 3

Using a sponge or paintbrush, dab a bit of glue mixture onto a small area (about 2”) of ornament. Immediately place tissue pieces over glue, overlapping pieces about ¼”.

Step: 4

Continue to add glue to ornament, carefully dabbing glue over top of tissue and working out bubbles in tissue as needed. Note: Do not overwork; the wet tissue will tear easily. Repeat this process until ornament is covered. Let dry completely.

Step: 5

Place craft transfer paper on one side of ornament and place striped candies pattern on top. Trace over pattern lines, transferring design onto ornament. Repeat for other side of ornament. Carefully freehand lines over the edge to connect with the stripes on the other side.

Step: 6

Use the red Permanent Fabric Marker to color in every other stripe. Refer to photo. Let dry.

Step: 7

Spray ornament with Spray Acrylic Sealer. Let dry.

Step: 8

Squeeze a puddle of Fashion Glitter Bond onto foil. Use a paintbrush to apply a generous layer to red stripes on one side of ornament then immediately sprinkle with red Fashion Glitter. When dry, shake off excess. Repeat on other side, then around the edge. Let dry overnight, then use a stiff paintbrush to brush off the excess glitter.

Step: 9

Cut bottom seam off of a treat bag. Cut down one side seam. Cut a ½” hole in center of opposite side seam. Put neck of ornament through the hole and wrap the bag around ornament; secure ends with twist ties included in package. Replace the metal cap and loop.
