Wrapped Cording Bracelet and Necklace
If knotting friendship bracelets was always way harder than it looks, try wrapping! It's really simple and is great for color blocking.

- Bead Landing™ Cording Necklace – Velvet
- Bead Landing™ Cording – Colored
Cut off a long length of Bead Landing™ colored cording. Tie one end to a stationary point, so the string is taut when you are wrapping.
Lay the end of the colored cording parallel to the velvet corded necklace. Starting at the end, begin wrapping the colored cording around the velvet necklace. Be sure to wrap the cording approximately ½" over the end of the cording to keep it secure.
Continue to wrap to achieve the desired amount of color.
When changing colors of cording, leave a small tail of the previous cording, and add current color, horizontally on the velvet cording necklace. Begin wrapping the new color up against the prior color and overlapping the tails.
When the whole length of velvet cording is wrapped, tie the cording off at the end and feed the cord back through some of the wrapping, by threading the cord through a needle.
