Project Instructions
GAUGE: 14 sts and 17 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.
Striped Version:
Stripe Pat: Work in stocking st as follows: A - 4 rows.
B - 2 rows. A - 6 rows. B - 2 rows. A - 2 rows. B - 4 rows. A - 2 rows. B - 6 rows.
These 28 rows form Stripe Pat.
With A, cast on 79 sts.
Proceed in stocking st as follows: With A work 4 rows. With B work 2 rows. With A work 6 rows. With B work 2 rows. With A
work 2 rows. With B work 4 rows. With A work 2 rows. With B work 6 rows.
Rep these 28 rows for Stripe Pat until work from beg measures 22½ ins [57 cm], ending with a purl row. Cast off.
2-Color Version:
With A, cast on 79 sts.
Proceed in stocking st until work from beg measures 11¼ ins [28.5 cm], ending with a purl row.
Change to B and cont in stocking st until work from beg measures 22½ ins [57 cm], ending with a purl row.
Cast off.
Both Versions:
Fold pillow as shown on Diagram. Sew 2 sides. Insert pillow form. Sew rem 2 sides closed.
