Yarn Wrapped Tree
This project is great for bringing some natural materials into your home. The image shows a Valentine's themed tree branch but you could use the same concept for any theme! Especially if you have some extra yarn on your hands.

- Tree Branch
- Loops & Threads® Yarn – Assorted Colors
- Ashland™ Vase – Style of Choice
- Ashland™ Marbles
- Scissors
- Aleene’s® Fast Grab™ Tacky Glue
Project Instructions
Cut desired branch.
Add marbles to vase and insert branch.
Cut several yards of yarn and wrap into a ball. This makes it much easier to wrap branches without using the whole skein of yarn.
Start at inner parts of the branch and wrap as desired. At end of yarn or when you want to change colors, just start wrapping with another color of yarn.
Secure ends with small amount of glue (it will dry clear).
Continue to wrap entire tree branch.
Add your desired Valentines to the tree.
If desired, add bows of yarn.
