Step 1 For making the Milk Carton you are going to need a piece of 10½"x8" white cardstock and the Martha Stewart Crafts™ scoring board. The first score mark will mark the bottom of the box which will be at 2", the second score mark will determine the height of this box. This score mark will be at 6" and the third one will be at 7½". Turn the paper and score at 2½", 5", 7½" and 10".
Step 2 Fold at the scored lines and cut the vertical score lines on the 2" bottom and cut off the ½" tab just in the 2" bottom. When you put your box facing down, make a vertical score mark on the center of the ½" tab.
Step 3 This center will be at 1¼" of each tab and you will score until you hit the horizontal line. From that point where the horizontal score mark and the vertical score mark meet, make a score mark to the bottom corners of that rectangle forming a triangle. This will help the box fold into the milk carton shape.
Step 4 Using the Tombow® MONO multi-liquid glue, glue the ½ inch tab on the side and then glue the bottom.
Step 5 To close the box, used a paper clip decorated with a piece of scrap paper. The size of this paper will depend on the size of your paper clip. Also use a little bit of tulle on the top.
Step 6 Now, to decorate the box, use the MONO adhesive Power Bond and eight pieces of 2-3/8"x3-7/8" paper from the Recollections® Neapolitan Collection. On the front use a photo and one of the sentiments of the pattern paper. To make the little banners cut 9/16"x 7/8" rectangles and then cut a triangle at the bottom. Glue the twine in the back of the pennants and then use the Tombow® Power Tabs to put the banner on the milk carton.
Step 7 Then use the Recollections™ small flower punch for three small flowers and also Recollections™ adhesive pearls.
Step 8 The final touch was a small heart made with a Recollections™ heart punch. All the papers used on this project are from the Recollections® The Neapolitan Collection.
