To make pattern, use ruler, pencil and scissors to measure and cut 16"x20" rectangle from newspaper. Measure and draw 4" wide letter as large as newspaper piece. (Tip: From copy paper, cut 4" wide strip to use as template to help in drawing parts of letter. For curved parts of letter, square off edges like varsity letters. If needed, use computer search to find varsity letter examples.) Cut out letter pattern.
Place Zebra Print foam board on work surface. Place newspaper letter on foam board and trace with pencil. Ask an adult to use X-ACTO® Foam Board Cutter on 12"x12" cutting mat to cut out letter.
Attach straight edge of Project Popperz® Holographic Re-positionable Borders, end to end, to monogram edges as desired. One at a time, apply Board Mate™ Dual Tip Glue Pen to back of border sections to securely attach. Referring to photo, position and use CraftBond™ foam mounting tape to attach flowers and give dimension.
For hanger on back, measure and mark 2" down from top and 3" in from top left corner. Slightly separate curved ends of one paper clip ½". Place paper clip vertically on mark and use Board Mate™ glue pen to glue bottom half of paper clip (with single loop down), creating hanger with double loop end of paper clip. Cut 2" square scrap paper and glue to bottom end of paper clip to finish off and help secure. Repeat to attach other paper clip on top right corner.
