- Aleene’s® Fabric Fusion® Spray-On Fusible Web
- Leather (or Smooth Surface, Fabric Suitcase)
- Fabric (to Cover Front and Back) – Light Blue
- Fabric (to Cut Out Antlers) – Dark Blue
- Freezer Paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Iron
- Newspapers
- Cardboard Square, 4"
Project Instructions
Step 1 Place freezer paper on front of suitcase. Trace around edges of suitcase. Use as a pattern to cut out light blue fabric for front and back of suitcase.
Step 2 Spray front surface of suitcase with Spray-On Fusible Web. Press fabric piece onto front of suitcase.
Step 3 Heat iron to high heat setting then iron over fabric on suitcase for 30 to 45 seconds. Let cool.
Step 4 Repeat process on backside of suitcase.
Step 5 Trace antlers on freezer paper.
Step 6 Iron to right side of dark blue fabric, cut out.
Step 7 Leave freezer paper on antlers and lay on newspaper, paper side down. Spray fabric evenly with Spray-On Fusible Web and adhere to suitcase front. Carefully peel off freezer paper. Repeat iron process to permanently adhere in place.
Step 8 For pompoms, cut ½" wide strips of fabric from remnants. Wrap strips around 4" cardboard square. Pull off cardboard and tie center with a fabric strip. Cut loops and trim into pompom.
Step 9 Tie pompoms to suitcase to complete.
