Due to the seasonal nature of some merchandise, actual availability of some products pictured may vary.
 
  • Basecoat one large flowerpot (body), six small flowerpots (arms & legs), one 20mm bead (head) and four 10mm beads (hands & feet) with Terra Cotta.

 
  • Use round paintbrush to paint rims of four small flowerpots and a band above rim of large flowerpot with True Red. Use black marker or liner paintbrush and Lamp Black to add eyes, nose and mouth.

 
  • Use cotton swab to add cheeks. Use liner paintbrush and Titanium White to highlight eyes, nose and cheeks, and to add stitch lines over red rims on four small flowerpots.
 
  • The six 8mm beads for the project won't be seen once figure is assembled and do not need to be painted. When assembling the figure, a ball is placed inside each of the small flowerpots (see pattern) to provide proper spacing.
 
  • When attaching head to body, put wire through body and wrap bottom end around top of legs. Use pliers to bend and coil wire as shown. Curl ends of wire to secure.
 
  • Once reindeer is assembled, use a 6-inch piece of red ribbon to tie a shoestring bow around neck.
 
  • Glue three jingles bells to red band on large flowerpot and 3-inch piece of evergreen stem to top of head. Paint exposed wire with Terra Cotta.
Tip: To basecoat, use a flat paintbrush to paint entire surface with desired color, using a back and forth motion.

Wash paintbrushes with water and dry with paper towels before changing paint colors.

Allow all paint to dry before continuing to next step.
